Guests who leave feedback
When you scan a Loylink code you can give a star rating, answer a few questions, write a comment and add photos. Photos are re-encoded and their location data removed. Your name, phone number and email are optional: we only ask for them if the business wants to follow up, and only store them if you agree. A small cookie on your device lets a second tap within a few minutes update the same visit instead of creating a new one.
People who ask for a demo
The demo form collects your name, business name, phone or email, and anything else you choose to tell us. We use it only to contact you about Loylink, and only our team can see it.
Business owners and staff
Staff accounts hold a name, an email address and a securely hashed password. Sign-ins, and the changes each person makes, are kept in an audit log that the business owner can see. Staff can choose alert channels such as SMS, Telegram or email; alerts never include guest contact details.
AI insights and the AI Waiter
When a business turns on AI insights, the rating, answers and comment of each piece of feedback are sent to Anthropic's Claude to read the sentiment, topics and a translation. When the AI Waiter is on, what a guest types in the waiter chat is sent to Claude with the venue's menu to answer, and the conversation isn't saved. Guest names, phone numbers, emails and device details are never sent.
Cookies
Loylink uses only the cookies it needs to work: one to keep staff signed in, one to remember the language you chose, and the guest device cookie described above. There is no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking.
Where data is kept, and for how long
Data is stored on the servers that run the business's Loylink installation. How long feedback, contact details and demo requests are kept will be set out in the final notice.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details held about you. For feedback you left at a venue, contact that business; for demo requests, contact us.
